It only lost 1 star which I will get to later. On the plus side, it is a beautiful conditioner that leaves my light & frizzy hair looking & feeling silky & curly. I have been leaving a little in and it is not at all sticky or heavy.
So the loss of that 1 star is due to the smell. It took me a while to figure out why I kept remembering laundry washing day from my childhood. It smells like the laundry powder my mother used to use. It is quite an unpleasant, chemical smell.
I will definitely work my way through alternatives from the Deva line to see if there is something just as good, but with a different smell.

Very soft and defined curls and made detangling my hair much easier. It did feel like I had to use a lot of product to fully coat my hair - but the results were good.

Lovely defined curls and leaves hair very soft with bouncy curls. I used to use the decadence version of this but this is better for my particular curl. Only downside, like the shampoo is that I am not keen on the fragrance, it is slightly medicinal but love the result so can put up with it.

After using high end salon hair care brands to care for my damaged coloured hair, I realised they still had silicones and sulphates or parabens in many of my products (kerastase, pureology etc) My hair was still dry and the treatments weren’t working (probably from all the chemicals!) so I swapped to devacurl and noticed a difference immediately. The ‘no poo’ cleanser and ‘one condition’ moisturised my hair immediately and my wavy/curly hair came back to life. It’s been a game changer. So much so that when I tried one of my old treatments (just to finish it up there’s so much left) it left my hair wiry, dry and I could literally feel the coat of chemicals. It took two washes to get back to normal! My hair is looking and feeling amazing and I love the miracle cream also. Best products hands down.

My hair was great the first months, after that I started getting dandruff, itchy scalp, my hair started looking dry. But was so easy to brush my girls very long hair that I never believed these problems were coming from my loved Devacurl, I started loosing a lot of hair and my curls changed, I thought it was hormonal. In February I noticed my 10y girl hair getting very dry and with a little alopecia on the top of her head, my dr said could be fungus. I love it, I use the squish to condish method with my curls and followup with arc angel gel afterwards. I use this with the No Poo shampoo and find its a great combination. My curls are defined and frizz free.
